Joyce Blowers, owner of Delightful Quilting & Sewing, is an experienced professional quilter, Nolting longarm and Quiltmagine dealer, and retired IntelliQuilter dealer who is knowledgeable using all features and functions in Quiltmagine and IntelliQuilter.  She is a master educator who loves teaching students about automation, the "how do I do it," along with helping students build skill with hands-on the tablet guided exercises.  Students walk away from her classes encouraged and confident in using their automation system.  More on Joyce.

Joyce and her husband, Ron, enjoy traveling, have taught Maine to California, Texas to Alaska.  They enjoy seeing our beautiful America, meeting folks along the way, and especially enjoy meeting quilters.

 

Host a Quiltmagine or IntelliQuilter Workshop

 

What's Required:

• A location large enough to host 10-12 students comfortably at tables.  Students use their tablet for hands-on exercises

• Longarm system set up with the automation system (Quiltmagine or IntelliQuilter) for demonstrations at the frame

 

About the Classes:​

• Classes are hands-on, students using their tablet for guided exercises.

• Demonstrations at the frame to illustrate features/functions and techniques.

• Classes are typically full day, about 6 hours long with up to an hour for lunch.

• Lunch can be included in the student cost (catered), students could bring their lunch, or students could be released to find fast food locally (something we can discuss).

• It is recommended to host two or three days of classes, especially for students that make the trip.  This is an item for discussion.

• Class content can be decided with the host and may depend on the interest and skill of students.

 

What does it cost?

• Students pay to attend the classes.  Typically as a thank you, the host can attend for free.

• Class fee, how students register, and how Joyce is paid will be discussed prior to signing a contract.

• Minimum number of students required to cover travel, lodging, and teaching fee.
